Kitimat-Stikine has a coastal-inland climate with mild, wet winters and cool, dry summers. The best time to be out is from May to September, when the weather is most forgiving and the outdoors are fully open. Best: Late spring to early fall (May–September) offers the most comfortable weather for outdoor activities, with long daylight hours and mild temperatures.
